A question for nurses or anybody who knows about Cerazette (the mini-pill).?

I recently went to get this from the nurse in my local clinic and she told me that I will not have my period on Cerazette. I have been reading on it though and it says that I must take the pills, even when on my period.

So, do I still get my period on Cerazette?

Thanks!

Woman can be put on it if they are nursing
its a form of birth control also used for controlling your periods getting your body more regular.

If you forget one take it as soon as you remember and the next one right on time….

its not as strong as the regular pill but still helps while the other pill is 99.9% when used properly the mini pill is alot lower of a percentage it is in the 70 percent range. (My sister was on this and was’nt told until afterwards when she was pregnant :) She was married and wanted one eventually anyways… You may not want the same thing.
You take it regularly with a glass fo water at the same time every time.
And they do not protect you from STD’s of course wear a condom as well….
If there were 21 you wouldnt take them for 7 days
However she told you to take them im guessing all the way through because 7 of them are reminder pills.. they remind you to take them- You will probably get a period just a light one and probably wont have long… Some maynot at all everyone is different but continue taking them… If you get spotting and periods a couple times a month them return to your doctor they are not working for you but continue taking htem until he tells you differently
Heres a good site
