Can an Alternative Medical Practitioner prescribe antibiotics and narcotics?

Is alternative medicine limited to, and only used by people with alternative sexual preferences?
What happens if heterosexuals use it? What happens if omnivores practice the alternative medical craft? Can I still drink domestic beer? There is a school (S. W. School of Naturopathic Medicine) in a shopping mall in Tempe, Az. I have heard that if you go to school there you can prescribe pharmacy drugs. That would be very cool. Is it true?
